We Visited The New Go Ape Zipline And Adventure Park In Sugar Land

There's something new hidden in the trees at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land.

It's Go Ape Zipline And Adventure Park!

My daughter, Anna, and I gave it a try.

First thing you do is get into a harness.

This will not only keep you safe, but it will also help you navigate the courses.

The courses include the Treetop Discovery, Treetop Adventure and Treetop Journey.

We ventured into the Treetop Discovery.

After you get your harness, you'll go through a couple of quick instructional & training sessions.

During this training session, you can practice take-off and landing while being a few inches above the ground.

When you're ready to go, you can choose your difficulty level and ascend into the canopy.

The courses are filled with all kinds of cool obstacles to navigate.

My daughter Anna went through every single one of them with no fear.

Some were more challenging than others, but they were all super fun.

It was really neat to be up so high in the trees.

The Treetop Discovery course features 42 different obstacles to get through.

If you get to a point where you need help, there's always an instructor nearby.

You'll also see these guides at the beginning of each obstacle.

These signs have the name of the obstacle, the difficulty level and a visual representation on how to do it.

When you get to the end of the course, there's only one way down.

The end of the course features some zip lines with amazing views.

As you make your way through the Treetop Discovery, you might forget you're going up.

When we got to the final platform on the course, we couldn't believe how high up we were.

Here's a better look at the way down...

At this point, you can just sit back and enjoy the ride.

It's so smooth and quick.

Julie took a pic of me just chilling on the zip line...

Bottom line is that we had a great time and I know your family will too.

More attractions will be opening soon, so be ready.
