Nothing screams fancy than staying home and eating Taco Bell with a nice glass of wine. Well, Taco Bell got the memo because they are getting ready to release their very own bottle of wine to pair perfectly with your Chalupa. The brand new Jalapeño Noir is a Pinot Noir produced by Queenston Mile Vineyard in Ontario, Canada. A normal bottle of wine from this winery would cost you around $30, but the Taco Bell wine is on the cheaper end going for $20 a bottle. According to Taco Bell's director of brand marketing, Kat Garcia,
"Wine and cheese are simply meant to be together, so launching a new wine to go with the craveable, cheddary Toasted Cheesy Chalupa made perfect sense. At Taco Bell Canada, we love to raise our glass to big, bold ideas that elevate our menu items, and pairing our Toasted Cheesy Chalupa with this Jalapeno Noir is no exception.”
The wine will be sold with three different labels so you can collect them all and it will go on sale tomorrow (9/16). Sadly, this wine will only be available in Canada for now to tie in with Canada's new Toasted Cheesy Chalupa. Fingers crossed both of these come to the U.S. soon, but until then we will continue eating our Taco Bell with our own bottle of wine!
