University Of California Schools Will Have Hybrid Classes In The Fall!

Last week, many colleges were still deciding on how to move forward with the fall semester, California State University campuses decided they would remain closed through the fall semester, but 3 Southern California campuses decided to re-open their campuses. Well, the fate of University of California schools has been revealed and they're planning on doing a hybrid of in-person and online classes. UC President Janet Napolitano said she believes that the every UC campus will be open and offering instruction this fall. Napolitano is letting each UC campus make their own decision of offering any in-person classes or have it all online. However, she believes that most if not all UC campuses will operate with the hybrid class model. Of course, the campuses will have to meet safety standards to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Then, once they get the approval that they met the standards, they can decide if they want to offer online only classes or have students come back for in-person classes. The decision will be made by mid-June.
