The Results Are In: 12-Week Bootcamp Before & After

I remember seeing the quote:

“It takes 4 weeks for you to notice your body changing, 8 weeks for your friends to notice, and 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice. Give it 12 weeks. Don’t QUIT!” 

So for the last 12 weeks that’s what I did, dedicating my time at Titan Fitness for a boot camp I knew could change not only how others saw me, but most importantly how I saw myself. In those 12 weeks I’ve learned that I can do anything I set my mind to. And I’ve watched my life change for the better...in and out of the gym. 

What did I do? I prioritized my time so I could make it to the gym at least three days a week. I didn't make excuses. There were days I was sore, I was tired, I didn't feel good. Days I had more on my plate at work than I felt I could handle. But working out allowed me a break from what ailed me. And when I was done I always felt better physically and mentally. My Titan family became another motivator. They held me accountable. They noticed my progress. They cheered me on. 

Our 12-week program not only had us pushing ourselves at the gym, but changing our relationship with food as well. Participants began intermittent fasting and were also asked to drink at least 100 ounces of water a day. 

The result? Success. I lost weight. I lost body fat. I consistently did better on my fitness tests each month. 

But here's the thing...It’s not the number on the scale or the body fat percentage or how many push-ups and burpees I can do. You don't need to know the numbers.

It’s the girl I see when I look in the mirror and how she makes me feel. And let me tell you what...she makes me so damn proud. 

Thanks to my trainers Joe & Travis for believing in me so I could believe in myself. This journey is far from over!
