WATCH: High School Performances Led to Timothee Chalamet Getting "Wonka"

The director of the Willy Wonka prequel "Wonka" tells Rolling Stone that he offered the role to Timothée Chalamet without considering anyone else.

And one reason was his high school performances on YouTube! His singing and tap-dancing sealed the deal apparently.
