STEVE HARVEY: Another Miss Universe Flub

Steve Harvey flubbed announcing the Best Costume winner at last night’s Miss Universe pageant.

Four years ago, Steve Harvey mistakenly awarded the wrong Miss Universe.

This time, the error was not completely his. Pageant producers put on stage Miss Malaysia, who wore an elaborate costume but she was not the winner. That honor went to Miss Philippines,which Steve Harvey announced while pointing to Miss Malaysia, (quote) “Here she is.”

Miss Malaysia corrected Harvey, who told audience, (quote) “Let me explain. I just read that in a teleprompter. You all quit doing this to me.”

A pageant insider disclosed afterward how the mistake happened. They said Steve Harvey correctly announced the Best Costume but, (quote) “As part of the broadcast, we also featured Miss Malaysia’s national costume.”
