Hurricane Harvey ... Ways to Help ... The American Red Cross

We are keeping our beloved friends, family and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers as Hurricane Harvey lingers and causes catastrophic flooding for folks in the Houston, Texas area.

You've heard me talking on the air about this ... here are some ways to help right now, no matter where you are tuned in from this evening:

The Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross is a great place to help.  Click here to be taken directly to their home page.

If you are local to the Houston area, or are one of the many planning on traveling to Texas to lend a hand in the recovery efforts that will follow in the days and weeks ahead - touch base with the Amerian Red Cross' volunteer program & register by clicking here.  The Red Cross is greatly in need of volunteers to help with warehousing, shelter management, supply distribution and administrative support.

The Red Cross depends on financial donations to provide disaster relief immediately. Help people affected by Hurricane Harvey by visiting redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS or texting "HARVEY" to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

The American Red Cross' Hurricane Harvey help and donations page, is also available by clicking here.

We will certainly add MORE ways to help in the days ahead... but tonight, for starters, we wanted to share this with you.

Please keep the people of Texas and ALL of those around the Gulf of Mexico in your thoughts and prayers.

More details on the American Red Cross along with the plans on what's next, as far as relief efforts and recoveries are concerned, are available by clicking here.

Thank You.
