Twenty-two years ago, Jamie Lee Curtis shared a piece of advice with her Freaky Friday co-star Lindsay Lohan that left a lasting impression on the young actress.

Lohan opened up about the "game-changing" guidance Curtis offered her on the set of the beloved 2003 blockbuster during a chat with Page Six at a screening of Freakier Friday on Monday (July 28) evening.

"She said, 'How you show up on set is how the whole crew feels. You control the energy that goes on set, so always bring your best self'." Lohan was a teenager when Curtis imparted her wisdom, and the advice has stuck with her all these years.

The dynamic duo, who played mother and daughter in Freaky Friday, have reprised their roles for the sequel, Freakier Friday, slated to hit theaters on August 8.

In November 2024, Lohan appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and assured that the sequel, starring a handful of its original cast members, was "really funny."

"Jamie and I, even at the table read, we were just smiling so big. I don't think we were acting well because we were so happy. But the movie is funny. It's really funny."
