Pamela Anderson is sharing new details about her 2025 Met Gala appearance and the "brave" meaning behind the stunning look.
In a new interview with Who What Wear published Thursday (May 15), The Last Showgirl star detailed the inspiration behind her sparkling ensemble on the carpet of the Met Gala on May 5, per Page Six. For the "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" theme, Anderson channeled a "feminine warrior" with her bedazzled long sleeve silver gown by Tory Burch.
"For the Met, I wanted something strong, brave and committed — aligned with the night's theme of tailoring from head to toe," she said, adding, "I believe the world needs more of a feminine warrior presence, and this was my small contribution."
Anderson also addressed her seemingly divisive hairstyle — a blunt blonde bob with micro bangs — noting that it "wasn't about looking 'good.'"
"That's subjective anyway," she said. "[The] dress was the star. I was just blessed to wear it."
Anderson said the new cut also paid homage to legendary actresses that came before her, saying it was "a quiet nod to [her] favorite [Ingmar] Bergman actresses." She is a fan of the late Swedish director, who led films like Persona starring Bibi Andersson and Liv Ullmann.
The Baywatch actress first debuted her dramatic hair transformation days before the Gala, trading her signature long locks for her shortest style in decades as she attended the Tory Burch Foundation Honors Martha Stewart Founders Breakfast.
