Taylor Swift recently shared her first Instagram Story of the year in support of friends Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco.

According to Variety, the "Lavender Haze" hitmaker broke her over 100-day social media silence to congratulate the pair on the release of their first joint album, I Said I Love You First, which hit airwaves on Friday (March 21).

"I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD," the songstress beamed in a since expired Instagram Story praising her friends' talents. Included in the supportive message was a link to the album, standing out as Gomez's "first major musical release" since 2020's Rare, per Variety.

Swift hasn't posted on social media since the end of her illustrious Eras Tour, which wrapped in December 2024. The "Lover" standout celebrated the milestone with a series of photos shared to Instagram on December 11th and has remained inactive since.

Swift and Gomez's friendship dates back to 2008, when they were both dating a Jonas brother, per People. The duo have been inseparable ever since and continue to support each other's creative endeavors. Just last week, the "It Ain't Me" star revealed that she and Blanco were once the first guests to show up at Swift's house for an award show after-party, and she was "mortified."

"I don’t know it was kind of cute, but I was mortified. Apparently, cool people don’t show up to parties on time."
