Hilary Duff has no plans of having any more kids after welcoming her fourth child earlier this year, her third with husband Matthew Koma, while shutting down rumors that their newest addition was an "accident."
Duff appeared as a special guest on Thursday's (July 18) episode of the Informed Pregnancy Podcast, speaking to prenatal chiropractor and host Dr. Elliot Berlin all about her big family. The 36-year-old actress is a mom to four children: daughters Banks, 5, Mae, 3, and Townes, 2 months, all of whom she shares with Koma, and 12-year-old son Luca, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie, per People.
Berlin noted that couples with multiple children, especially four kids, are often asked whether the last one was "an accident," but Duff just laughed and shut down any such rumors by stating that she and Koma "actually planned this baby."
"I think I'm one of the most impulsive-thought-out people I know," she said. "Like, I do hash things out, but I haven't really shared with anybody yet, so by the time I'm ready to get pregnant, I'm like basically pregnant."
And it's not just her. The Lizzie McGuire alum also said her husband is just as "crazy" as she is when it comes to expanding their family.
"My husband loves to make it seem like I'm so crazy, I'm so nuts, I'm like, 'Let's make our life this mayhem, chaotic place.' But he's just as down as me. He's just as crazy," she said, adding of their decision to have Townes, "When we decided, we're both the same age, he's like six months older than me, and I was really like, 'I need to wrap my head around this. Am I done? Are we done? Because I'm fine with that, but I could go again.' And he's like, 'I think I could go again.' So we just decided we were going to do this."
Now that they've welcomed baby Townes into the mix, Duff said she and Koma are "definitely done" with having more children, revealing that her husband had a vasectomy weeks before she gave birth in May.
