Louis Tomlinson was rushed to the hospital with a broken arm after performing a show in New York and fans are hoping for a swift recovery. The former One Direction member took to Instagram to share a health update and some gnarly x-rays that show his bone snapped in two places.
The unfortunate news comes just after Tomlinson dropped his sophomore solo album Faith in the Future on Friday, November 11th.
"Thank you to everyone that's listened to the new album so far, it means the world to me," he started in a notes app screenshot. "The show last night in New York was incredible. Unfortunately on the way back I've managed to fall and break my right arm pretty badly."
Tomlinson continued by telling fans he would be forced to postpone several of the album signings. "So I'm gutted to say I'll have to reschedule the in-store signing next week," he explained. "Thank you for all your support and sorry to anyone who was coming next week," he said before signing off with his name.
After the note, Louis shared x-rays that show his broken arm. "Oh brother. Those X rays, sending love and light. Here’s to a speedy recovery," director Charlie Lightening commented on the post.
The singer later took to Twitter to share another update and show some gratitude for the people supporting his newly released album. "The support for Faith in the Future has been incredible!! Easing the pain of my broken arm haha!"
Get well soon, Louis!
