Nick Cordero's Wife Says He's In A 'Vicious ICU Dance Circle'

Nick Cordero is going to pass the 90-day mark since battling COVID-19 and the Broadway star is still fighting for his life.

On Sunday (June 28), Cordero's wife, Amanda Kloots, took to Instagram Stories to share an update on her husband's health. For the latest, Kloots explained that her sister, Anna, had just returned home to Paris after a lengthy visit, where she was able to help tend to the couple's one-year-old son, Elvis. "A bit of an emotional day with Anna leaving, feeling kind of just sad. And then visiting Nick," she captioned a cute shot of her, Anna and their mother in matching PJs. "Nick is doing OK, it's just that he's in this vicious ICU dance circle where one thing goes right and then another thing goes wrong and that thing that was wrong goes right but then the thing that was right goes wrong. To me right now it's just like how do we get out of this vicious circle, this circle of the ICU?"

Kloots went on to detail some other issues happening at the moment, writing, "There's still carbon dioxide level problems. He's still acidotic, and there's still blood pressure issues. So we kind of really need those things to get sorted in order to move forward. So I'm hoping and I'm keeping the faith that this week those things happen and we see some sort of advancement. So please keep Nick in your prayers."

Cordero, who has been battling multiple lung infections at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, has had his leg amputated and lost 65 pounds due to the hospitalization. He was previously placed in a medically-induced coma after surgery and woke up just a couple of weeks ago. Later on, it was revealed that Cordero was starting stem cell treatment to help his recovery. Doctors also suggested that Kloots bid farewell to him.
