Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Gift Yeezys To Kids In Uganda

As Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's tour of Uganda continues, the power couple is set on giving back and their recent charitable deed saw them hand out dozens of Yeezys.

Beyond recently gifting a pair to the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, (as well as President Donald Trump), the hip-hop heavyweight surprised a bunch of children with several bags loaded with his signature shoes. As per TMZ sources, Museveni gave Kimye permission to use his presidential helicopter, so the couple and their entourage could be flown from Chobe, Uganda to the children's charity event in Masulita, which is about 94 miles away. As one may have expected, the children went wild once they saw the rapper with bags. He even danced with the group while his Teyana Taylor collab "We Got Love" played for the crowd. President Museveni shared his thanks for the couple's visit on Twitter, writing, "I welcome American entertainment stars Kanye West and @KimKardashian to Uganda. I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda's tourism and the arts. I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda. It is the true Pearl of Africa."

Yeezy's alternate reason for visiting Africa is to finish recording his new album, Yandhi, which was rescheduled to November 23. "It's just a full Ye album, and those five albums that I dropped earlier were like superhero rehabilitation," he previously said of the project.
