Here's Why Fans Want Lenny Kravitz & Lisa Bonet to be in Big Little Lies

Big Little Lies has officially been picked up for season two and we are so excited. In addition to seeing some of our faves, like Reese Witherspoon, Zoë Kravitz, Nicole Kidman, and Shailene Woodley, back on the small screen in the near future, a new casting announcement has revealed that there will be some interested newcomers in Monterrey. Two of those new characters just happen to be Bonnie's - played by Zoë Kravitz - mysterious parents, described as being estranged from their daughter until a family emergency brings them back together.

There are some other interesting roles being cast, as well, including a new second grade teacher caught up in some drama with Renata and a new employee at Otter Boy Elementary who befriends Jane. While we're sure all the roles are integral to upcoming second season's storyline, fans have begun to fixate on who will be cast to play Bonnie's parents.

The reason they're so obsessed with this casting news is because it would be fun to see Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, parents of Zoë Kravitz, to be cast as Bonnie's parents in the show.

Both Lenny Kravitz and Bonet have extensive acting and performance experience, so, it's really not a stretch that either of them could be cast in an HBO acting gig. Despite no longer being together, Zoë's parents are on really good terms and are frequently spotted at events and on red carpets with their 29-year-old daughter. They could totally make Big Little Lies season two a family affair.

Some fans have even suggested that Zoë's step dad, Jason Momoa, could even step in to play Bonnie's dad in case Lenny is busy during filming. We think either guy would be perfect for the show.

What do you think: would you love to see Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet join their daughter in Big Little Lies
